How do I use the Voter Registration Desk Site?

Learn how to log in, check in owners, handle special voting statuses, and access live voting results.

Overview

The Voter Registration Desk Site allows administrators to securely manage in-person check-ins, track voting methods, and unlock final election tallies. This guide outlines the end-to-end operational workflow for meeting day.

Accessing the Registration Desk Site

  1. Navigate to the Registration Desk Site in your web browser.
  2. Log in using your standard GetQuorum Dashboard credentials.

How to Check an Owner In

Follow these steps when an attendee arrives at the registration desk:

  1. Select your meeting card, then navigate to the Check In tab.
  2. Use the search bar to look up the member by name, unit number, or email address.
  3. Click CHECK IN next to their name.
  4. Select the appropriate member/owner, determine their voting method (paper or electronically), and click CHECK IN.
Electronic vs. Paper Ballots

If an owner chooses to vote in-person electronically, do not issue them a paper ballot. Once checked-in, a QR code will display on your screen. The owner can scan this code to go directly to the voting portal, or they can use the direct voting link sent to their email.

Special Account Statuses
  • Proxies: The system will display a notification flag during check-in if the member/owner has a proxy on file.
  • Arrears: The system will flag the account if the member/owner is in arrears.

Announcing Results

Once the live voting period concludes, electronic tallies populate automatically in the system.

  1. Navigate to the RESULTS tab (located next to the Check In tab).
  2. Click Unlock Results.
  3. Acknowledge the privacy disclaimer to view the final totals.

Common Questions
  • Can a user scan the registration QR code if they did not receive their email link? Yes. The QR code generated upon check-in routes any authorized user directly to their personal voting portal.
