How does GetQuorum's electronic Candidate Nomination Tool work?

The Candidate Nomination Tool is a free, optional feature included in your Preliminary Notice emails. It provides owners with a simple, digital way to submit their names for the board while automating the collection of disclosure forms for Property Managers.

How the Tool Works

  1. Access via Email: We include a Nominate Yourself button directly in the Preliminary Notice email sent to all owners.

  2. Start Nomination: After clicking the button, owners are directed to the Nomination Tool interface where they can begin their application.

  3. Complete Disclosures: The tool guides owners through required disclosure questions one by one, ensuring all mandatory information is captured.

  4. Upload Documents: Owners have the option to upload a resume or bio to support their candidacy. 

  5. Review and Submit: Once all questions are answered, the owner can review their auto-filled disclosure form before final submission.

Post-Submission Process

  • Automatic Notification: As soon as an owner submits their nomination, a confirmation email containing the completed disclosure form and resume is automatically sent to the Property Manager. 

  • Dashboard Storage: All submissions are stored within the GetQuorum Dashboard, allowing the management team to easily retrieve candidate information when preparing the AGM package.

Important Considerations

  • Optional Feature: This tool is completely optional. If you prefer not to use it, your owners can continue to submit nominations via your traditional methods.

  • Accuracy: GetQuorum does not determine candidate eligibility; we provide the platform to collect the intent and data. The board or management must still verify candidates based on the community's governing documents.
