Are virtual meetings recorded?
Overview of recording ownership, storage security, and opt-out procedures.
Overview GetQuorum records Meetings to ensure liability protection, facilitate quality assurance training, and assist with complaint resolution. This guide explains how to access these recordings, our storage protocols, and how to request that a Meeting not be recorded.
Access and Ownership
Recordings are not sent automatically after the Meeting concludes. You must access and acquire the recording directly from the Dashboard.
Note: The recording remains the property of GetQuorum until you acquire it from the Dashboard.
Storage and Security
We do not allow anyone in the Meeting to store local copies. Files are stored exclusively in a secure, encrypted Zoom cloud environment.
-
Retention: By default, recordings are stored for 365 days.
-
Access: Only limited staff members have access to these files for quality assurance or complaint-related purposes if needed.
Opting Out of Recordings
If you prefer not to have the Meeting recorded, you must submit a formal request. We will continue recording until we receive the email instruction.
