Submitting Your Electronic Proxy Through GetQuorum

This article guides owners through accessing and completing their electronic proxy submission after receiving the Notice of Meeting package.

Opening the Electronic Proxy Tool

  1. Check your email for a message from your board of directors regarding the meeting. If you don't see it, please check your spam folder.
  2. In the email, click the blue COMPLETE YOUR PROXY button. This will open the electronic proxy tool in a new tab in your browser.

Using the Electronic Proxy Tool

Clicking the COMPLETE YOUR PROXY button will lead you to a new tab in your browser where you'll be presented with information about your meeting. It also gives you the opportunity to verify your voting information.

Note: You will only be able to instruct your proxy holder on business matters if your corporation allows instructed/directed proxies. It is possible that you may only be able elect a proxy holder to vote on your behalf on all matters.

1. Selecting Your Proxy Holder

  • You may be asked to provide your proxy holder (if one is not already assigned by your corporation).
  • You have the option of either writing in your proxy holder or selecting one of the representatives who will be in attendance.
  • Each corporation's proxy holder requirements differ, so please consult your management for further information.
  • Why do you need a proxy holder? If you can't make the meeting, the proxy holder in attendance validates your vote.

2. Voting on Business Matters

  • To vote on By-laws/Resolutions/Amendments, you'll be presented with a question where you'll be able to make your selection.
  • You'll have an opportunity to review your selection(s) before submitting your proxy.

Submission and Confirmation

  1. Once you have completed all selections and reviewed your submission, finalize the process.
  2. A copy of the completed proxy will be available to download and will be emailed to you upon completion for your records.
