What do I need to send as owners data for an Alberta Condo?
Learn what information and formats are required to submit your owners list to GetQuorum.
Please consult your corporation's bylaws and/or legal counsel to determine which structure aligns with your governance rules prior to submitting your data. This setup choice cannot be changed once imported.
Under Alberta condominium legislation and your corporation's specific bylaws, owner voting data can be set up in one of two ways:
- Option A: Units-Based Import: Each physical condominium unit is listed on a single row/line. If a unit is jointly owned by multiple individuals, all co-owners are grouped on that single record.
- Option B: Owners-Based Import: Every individual registered owner gets their own dedicated row/line, with unit factors split proportionally across co-owners where applicable.
All ownership information must received in excel format and should reference the following templates below.
Per Unit (co-owners are not split)
| unit | name | unit factor | email address | |
| 101 | Daniella Melo & Taylor Phillips | 100 | danilion@email.com; t.phillips@email.com | Both owners will receive an email, and whichever one votes applies the unit's total factors |
