Why can't I just email a PDF of the paper proxy to GetQuorum?
To ensure the security and accuracy of the live vote, the data must be entered into the platform's database. This allows the system to apply revocation logic if that owner shows up to the meeting.
Benefits to Uploading Paper Proxies:
- Real-Time Revocation: Once a paper proxy is uploaded, the owner can choose to revoke either their paper or electronic submission at the start of the meeting if they decide to vote live.
- Easy Record Retrieval: Digital entries make it simple to retrieve specific data for record requests or audits after the meeting concludes.
- Automated Scrutineering: Consolidating votes allows the system to instantly summarize results, reducing the time required for manual counting.
Important Requirements
Scrutineer Rule: GetQuorum can only serve as the meeting scrutineer if all paper proxies have been added to the Dashboard.
Manual Entry Only: GetQuorum does not accept scanned copies or photographs. Property Managers must manually enter the data into the system.
